Wessex Home Brew Centre, based in Dorset, England, will over the next two years

start to introduce four areas of development within our business.  Eventually having a centre

covering these four services, INTERNET SHOPPING, offering home brewing and wine

making equipment, brewery memorabilia and collectable vintage bottle sales.

STORE & BREWING MEMORABILIA MUSEUM, extending our range of the

above. ON SITE HOME BREWING CLASSES, followed by our own MICRO BREWERY,

all on one site by 2013, in the West Dorset area.

PHASE ONE

 

Phase one, introducing wessex-homebrew.co.uk where you can purchase on-line

new / used equipment and accessories, ranging from DEMIJOHN’S,

BREWING BUCKETS, CLEANING PRODUCTS, AIR LOCKS, CORKS, BOTTLES, SYPHONS, CORKING MACHINES, CROWN CAPPING MACHINES, HYDROMETERS, THERMOMETERS and WINE RACKS etc.

                                                       have home or business delivery. This delivery service covers

                                                        WEST DORSET, the delivery service is free. For those in

                                                       Weymouth or Portland when spending £18 or over, for those

                                                       living in Dorchester or Bridport free delivery when spending £25

                                                       or over. Or if spending less than the minimum spend, a set

                                                       delivery charge of £5 is required at the time of ordering. Please

PLEASE NOTE ALL ITEMS FOR SALE ON THIS WEB-SITE:- arrangements for their purchase must be made regarding their delivery or collection. we do not offer a postal service, unless the purchaser has paid an additional fee that has been agreed by us. at the time of purchase if postage and packaging is required please confirm with us first. as prices do not include postage and packaging (unless we have stated so) If customer requests items of glass, stoneware or items of a fragile nature to be posted to them, Wessex Homebrew (Savecard Ltd) cannot be held responsible for any damage however caused through the process of postage and delivery. Unfortunately no carrier is offering insurance (at a realistic cost) to cover damages on such items. However, Wessex Homebrew (Savecard Ltd) has been successful to-date in sending such items and will endeavour to do the best in offering proper packaging and using a professional recognised carrier service. Customer’s requesting such items to be sent including P&P, accept our terms and conditions and the responsibility.

 

 

 

PHASE TWO

 

THE OPENING OF OUR RETAIL STORE, we hope you understand, the

exact location will not be announced until we officially start advertising

through local media sometime during 2013. For this reason all we can identify

now, is that our store will be in the Weymouth / Portland area, on a specific site

Which will enable us to expand and incorporate PHASE THREE and FOUR.

 

 

 

                 

 

 

 

OUR RETAIL STORE, will offer the customer a knowledgeable service and personal guidance to help the first time home brewer or wine maker to choose relevant and suitable equipment, while offering an insight on the recommended ingredients required for the type of wine, ale or beer the

                                            customer wishes to make. For the more experienced brewer or wine

                                            maker a selection of new equipment suitable for the next level of

                                            production will be available, and for those working on a budget or

                                            wishing to keep their cost down while trying different techniques, a

                                        second-hand (used) equipment section will be on site.

 

                                We will also incorporate within retail, a selection of unusual, collectable,

                                curiosities and memorabilia relating to wine & beer markets, as well as books.

                              

 

                               PHASE THREE

                             ON SITE HOME BREWING CLASSES, will be phased in some time during

                               spring 2013. Several different classes will be available, one of which will include

                             fresh fruit picking as part of the wine making process and ingredients. Classes will

                   take place at our centre weekly, organised by our own staff.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

PHASE FOUR

 

MICRO BREWERY, (beers & wine making)

Our intentions are to be independent and specialised, having 100% control in development and choice of ingredients. We will personally oversee and implement the quality on each line from the beginning to the end, each bottle on our limited production line will represent our highest standard always..                  THERE WILL BE NO SECOND BEST!!

 

                                                                       Only small productions up-to 500 litres of beer or wine

                                                                      will be produced at a time. We will never be able to

                                                                      offer mass market products. Offering value for money

                                                                      a range of quality interesting types of beers, ales

                                                                      and wines, this is our future....

 

                                                                      Using old and traditional recipes and methods we aim to

                                                                      produce a more interesting product range including our

                                                                       own blueberry wine, parsnip wine, carrot wine,

                                                                      gooseberry wine, elder flower and elderberry wine as

                                                                       well as the more conventional grape wines. Regarding

                                                                      beers, ales and cider.... Well you just have to wait and

                                                                       see!!!!!
